THE CUTTING EDGE OF EDUCATION...

How to Build A Silver Bullet Machine™
(S101) Sunday, 12 October 13:00 - 16:00
Open to ACTE Members Only
This session is open to all members, but is particularly recommended for those delegates electing to participate in the Advancing the Industry Workshop listed below.

Every organization strives to have a magic 'silver bullet' -like a fantastic product or a great brand. But we all know that sooner or later, individual 'silver bullets' tarnish-products become obsolete, competitors steal the brand space, etc. Smart organizations don't rely on a single 'silver bullet'-they have a 'machine' that builds them. The machine isn't a kit-it's an organizational capability to have great ideas again and again. Surely generating great ideas is all about genius, or luck or accident? No. It isn't. If you want to find out how you too can generate great ideas on demand-build your own 'silver bullet machine'-come to this action-packed, mind-stretching master class let by British creativity guru Dr. Dennis Sherwood

Advancing the Industry Workshop
(M106)Monday, 13 October 10:15 - 13:00
Open to ACTE Members Only

ACTE is pleased to introduce an innovative pilot programme, Advancing the Industry Workshop at the ACTE Global Conference in Dublin. This session is different. This session allows delegates to spend three hours working in mixed teams to solve real industry problems. Under the guidance of Dr. Dennis Sherwood, participants will work in small teams to discuss, solve and share results about universal challenges facing corporate travel industry professionals. This is a rare opportunity to network with a select group of industry leaders and to contribute actionable ideas that will effect positive change for the entire travel community.

To ensure open and active contributions, participation in this event is limited to 50 delegates. Spaces will be allocated according to participant levels of experience on a fixed ratio of corporate and suppliers to ensure cross-industry balance. This opportunity is available to ACTE members only. Please indicate your wish to participate on the registration form and describe your travel industry background, including expertise and years in the industry.
