ACTE is dedicated to facilitating the interaction of its members by enabling them to address their needs in a quickly evolving global business environment through proactive educational offerings and quality networking opportunities. The association brings together senior-level business travel professionals from all segments of the corporate travel industry with an emphasis on advancing communication, exchanging ideas, and delivering valuable education that is unavailable elsewhere.

ACTE's focus on networking and communication vehicles allows suppliers and buyers to understand each other's points of view. This encourages meaningful dialogue and fosters productive working relationships. ACTE recognizes the interdependence among corporate travel purchasers and corporate travel suppliers - and treats them as equals. ACTE's membership is as diverse as the corporate travel industry . Corporate travel managers are key to the organization; so too are representatives from airlines, hotel companies, travel agencies, car rental companies and computer reservation systems; travel management consultants, and providers of products and services as different as travel technology, value-added-tax reclaim and travelers insurance. ACTE also attracts leading educators and journalists from the trade and consumer business press.

ACTE’s Global Conferences , held twice yearly,are meccas for innovation, advanced dialogue surrounding industry issues, and exposure to new technology products and services. The association’s unique conference structure stages internationally recognized business leaders, scholars, and politicians, to worldwide audiences of over 1,500 industry executives.

The Executive Forum program is a series of one-day seminars held in major cities around the world. Drawing up to100 attendees, these events provide a venue for top minds to interact, share best practices and work together to understand new concepts. Every Executive Forum is like the best graduate school symposium you could imagine.

To keep up with the fast-paced nature of the business travel industry and assure that even the busiest executives have access to education and analysis of hot topics, ACTE provides Webcasts . These live, Web-based, 1-hour presentations are on current subject matters and developing issues.
