The Fullerton Hotel Singapore offers registered conference attendees the following room rate:
- Courtyard Room S$305 +++ (Single/Double)
All reservations for the The Fullerton Hotel Singapore will need to be made by filling out the attached reservation form. The cut-off date is 20 July 2007. After the cut-off date, reservations will be made on a space available basis. All rates are subject to a 10% service charge, 1% government tax and goods and services tax (GST) at 7%. The buffet breakfast is chargeable at S$34+++ per person, per day.
Check-in time is after 1400 hours. Check-out time is prior to 1200 hours. Late check-out from 1400 hours to 1800 hours will be subject to availability at fifty percent (50%) of the contracted rate. Early check-in prior to 1400 hours and late check-out after 1800 hours will be subject to the full day’s rate.
ACTE is proud to be hosting the Asia-Pacific Education Conference 2007 at the Fullerton Hotel Singapore due to their green initiatives. Some of their initiatives include:
- Energy Conservation – through the use of sensors and timers for outdoor lighting and the use of rice paper on their roof which allows natural light to illuminate their lobby
- Water Conservation – through the use of re-usable cloth napkins, ceramic cups and plates in the guest rooms and restaurants
- Organic Cleaning Products – through the use of non-toxic cleaning materials and pesticides
- Food Donation – through the donation of unused bread to the “Food From the Heart” organization who distributes unsold loaves to needy homes
