ACTE Privacy Policy
ACTE respects the privacy of its members and visitors to its website.
Most data ACTE collects is used only to help better serve members. It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information that our members knowingly provide. If our privacy policies change, we will notify all members by email or a special announcement placed on the website.
ACTE does not collect any personal information from users browsing its website. Only aggregate data -- such as the number of hits per page -- are collected. Aggregate data are for internal use only and do not include personally identifiable information.
To gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on the website, members and other users are asked to register and provide some limited information. This information is submitted voluntarily. ACTE collects names, organization name, business phone, and email and basic information about the member category/organization type. ACTE only uses this information to enhance its products and distribution of those products to its members. This information is not sold nor distributed in any other manner.
Disclosures to Third Parties
ACTE makes member contact information available through the ACTE Membership Directory as well as the online version. Conference registrations are shared with Conference Circle Level Sponsors only.
Credit Card Account Information
ACTE does not disclose credit card account information provided by its members and customers. When members and customers choose to pay using their credit cards, ACTE submits the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate clearinghouse.
