About
The ACTE Centre powers the mission and vision of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), the business travel industry’s leading education provider representing a vibrant global community comprised of more than 30,000 participants from 102 countries worldwide.
The focus of the ACTE Centre is to gather funding and re-invest those funds back into relevant educational programming, projects and services, which benefit the global business travel industry.
Contributions from individuals and organizations are invested in high-impact programs to support a rich, global business travel industry and provide investment into the future of the travel management profession. This year, the ACTE Centre will invest at individual-levels through scholarships to all ACTE educational programs.
Education
In line with our mandate to provide relevant global industry educational and networking programs to business travel professionals, ACTE has introduced the Around the World Program. ACTE’s Around the World program will offer travel professionals and university students a hands-on, global immersion learning program focused exclusively on global corporate travel management. Travel managers/buyers, sales managers or account managers can create a customized itinerary to gain additional market knowledge within select cities and regions. University students can enroll in the comprehensive, accredited 10-week program to fulfill study abroad and practical training requirements. All participants earn ACTE Global Travel Executive Certification upon completion of the program.
Each destination will include a combination of economic and industry briefings, classroom instruction, site visits to key suppliers of business travel products and services, networking with industry VIPs, professional development opportunities, and cultural activities.
