Pre-Workshop Clinic Creativity for Breakthrough Solutions* Wednesday, 18 August 12.00 - 13.30 A special management clinic designed to increase the effectiveness of individuals' capacity to generate ideas that can be translated into creative solutions. The The Basadur Inventory was developed by Dr. Min Basadur, Michael G. DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University and Founder of the Basadur Applied Creativity. During this half-day clinic preconceived notions of how ideas are generated will be replaced with a new process that has delivered exceptional results to global companies like Pepsi Co, IBM, American Airlines and Canon. The technique has even recently been used by medical professionals such as Head Consultants/Surgeons to directors of nursing. Participants of the clinic will guided through the process and then put their new-found skill to the test by addressing a business travel management issue. The clinic will be facilitated by Dr. Kirpal Singh, lead coordinator of the Creative Thinking Programme at the Singapore Management University.
