All meeting activities will take place at the Rome Marriott Park Hotel perfectly located between Rome’s Leonardo Da Vinci (FCO) airport and the City Centre.

The Rome Marriott Park Hotel is offering the following discounted room rates to ACTE Global Education Conference attendees from Thursday, 2 October 2008 to Wednesday, 8 October 2008:

  • Single Occupancy Deluxe: 190 EUR
  • Junior Suite: 290 EUR
  • Suite: 390 EUR

Cut-Off Date: Friday, 19 September 2008.  All reservations must be made on or before the cut off date.  Reservation requests received after the cut-off date will be based on availability. 

Cancellation Policy: Rooms may be cancelled without penalty until the reservation cut-off date of Friday, 19 September 2008. From Saturday, 20 September 2008 until 48 hours prior to your arrival, all cancelled rooms are subject to a 1 night room and tax cancellation fee. If cancellation occurs less than 48 hours prior to your arrival, cancelled rooms are subject to a cancellation fee of the entire stay (room and tax).

Transportation to Rome City Center (Hotel is Outside of Rome City Center)

The Rome Marriott Park Hotel is approximately 30 minutes (40 minutes during traffic) from the Rome City Center. The Rome Marriott Park Hotel offers a shuttle bus from the hotel to the city that operates from 8.00-23.00.  It departs the hotel every 2 hours (8.00, 10.00, etc) and returns from the Piazza Cavour every other 2 hours (9.00, 11.00, etc).  The cost is €6 one way and €10 round trip.  Seats on the bus are limited and prior seat reservation is required.  Times and rates are subject to change.  More information can be found at the Rome Marriott Park Hotel concierge desk. 

Please be aware that there is not a taxi stand outside the Rome Marriott Park Hotel.  If you need a taxi, please contact the concierge desk at least 10-15 minutes prior to your desired departure time. Taxi fares are approximately €40 - €50 one way to the Rome City Center.
