ACTE does not make any independent investigations to verify the factual information submitted to potential investors by individual entrepreneurs. Hence, ACTE makes no representations or warranties regarding the truth, accuracy, or completeness of the information provided by applicant entrepreneurs.
All investments in entrepreneurial companies involve a high degree of risk, and investors should be able to bear the risk of complete financial loss. The choice to use and manner of utilization of information and knowledge gained through the ACTEcelerator is each investor’s individual and personal choice.
A listing with, or membership in, the ACTEcelerator does not constitute an offer to sell, nor a solicitation of an offer to buy, any investment interest in the business ventures of the listed Entrepreneurs. Any sale or purchase of investment interest resulting from investors' use of ACTEcelerator services is understood to be a private transaction on a negotiated basis between the Entrepreneur and the investor(s) without any participation by or remuneration to ACTE. Neither ACTE nor the ACTEcelerator has any financial interest in any firm posted on the web site or presented to the membership.
Neither ACTE nor the ACTEcelerator is a venture fund, an investment bank, a broker dealer, investment clearing-house, or an investment advisor, nor registered with the Securities Exchange Commission or any state securities commission.
