Volunteer Opportunities

Below is a list of volunteer opportunities available to ACTE members. If you are interested in participating in any of the committees below, please submit a volunteer application. ACTE will fill committees based on availability.

Education Forums The role of each Education Forum Planning Committees to define the theme of the Education Forum and suggest speakers for the program. Multiple opportunities are available throughout the year, and across all regions including Asia, Australasia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Middle East & Africa and the United States.
Requirements:
  • Must be ACTE Member in good standing
  • Limited to 5-7 local travel professionals
  • 50%/50% Corporate/non-corporate
  • Promote event to industry colleagues
  • Provide onsite support
  • Time commitment: 3 months

    Global Conferences (two opportunities throughout the year) The role of Global Conference volunteers are to further develop the education sessions and identify appropriate presenters. Two opportunities are available per year.
    Requirements:
  • Must be ACTE Member in good standing
  • Limited to 8-10 travel professionals
  • 50%/50% Corporate/non-corporate
  • Previous Education Forum Steering Committee experience preferred
  • Time commitment: Seven (7) months
