In 2003 a coalition of business travel entities—including ACTE—petitioned International Air Transport Association (IATA) to consider and remove outdate regulations that hobbled business in the EU. This session will examine both the direct and indirect costs that business travel incurs in complying with certain IATA regulations and provide attendees with a strategies for supporting the efforts for elimination of these regulations.

Objective:
An attendee will leave this session with an understanding of the additional costs and processes certain disputed IATA regulations impose on business travel and their outdated national distinctions in a modern free-trade European Union.
