Conference Registration Facts
Palacio de Congresos (Convention Centre)
All conference activities will take place at the Palacio de Congresos unless otherwise noted.
Transportation
Shuttle service will be provided to conference hotels from the Malaga Airport on Sunday, 14 November and Wednesday, 17 November. Shuttle service from area hotels to the Palacio de Congresos will also be available. Times of service will be posted in each hotel.

(It is recommended that participants pick up their registration materials early on Sunday)

Registration Fees
All fees will be charged in euro. Registration fees for ACTE Global include admission to all conference
activities (excluding tours) and sponsored meals. Registration fee for one day includes all activities for that day only. There are no separate fees for evening functions.

register before 8 November 1999 will receive written confirmation.
Guests
A guest is a spouse/significant other, friend or an adult child (18 and over) who is not in
an industry-related occupation. A co-worker or an associate within the industry may not use the Guest
registration category. Registered guests may participate in all official social events, meal functions and
general sessions. Registered guests are not eligible to attend education sessions. Special tours for guests

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Full refunds, less Î 75 processing fee per registrant, will be granted for cancellations received in
writing to ACTE prior to 25 October 1999.
Badges, Education Session Tickets & Admittance
Official ACTE badges must be worn at all conference events. Tickets will be issued at registration check
in for each education session. Please complete the session selection form. Conference participants
without tickets may only attend on a space available basis.
Private Social Functions Policy
Social functions, at which attendance is restricted to either verbal or written invitations, are not permitted
to occur during any official ACTE activity. ACTE reserves the right to postpone or delay any function
conflicting with an official ACTE function.
Conference Attire
The attire for the conference is business casual (no jeans please). It is recommended that women wear
low heeled shoes while at the Palacio de Congresos due to the marble flooring. Low shoes are also
recommended for wearing at the Hacienda La Venta on Sunday evening.
A Reminder
Meeting room temperatures and personal comfort ranges vary widely. Since meeting rooms always seem
cold, please bring either a sweater or a jacket.
Golf
More than Costa del Sol…Costa del Golf. Thirty to thirty five golf courses are within a 1.5-hr. drive.
Please check with the concierge at your hotel for special rates and availability.

Accommodations
ACTE has blocked space at hotels in Torremolinos and Benalmadena. Please register early to better ensure your hotel preference by completing the Hotel Reservation Form and submitting to the ACTE Registration Office. The hotels will not accept direct reservations. Please note that a credit card number is needed to guarantee your reservation. Accommodation charges will be billed directly to you at the time of your stay. Rooms reserved and not cancelled at least three days before your arrival will be subject to a charge to your credit card. Full details of specific hotel cancellation policies will be provided with your hotel reservation confirmation. If you wish to cancel or change your reservation, please notify the ACTE Registration Office in writing at least 3 days prior to your planned arrival date.
