Opening Night Reception

The Opening Night Reception will take place at the Smithsonian Institution Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture located in the heart of Washington, DC. Come and join old friends from past conference and welcome first-timers while having cocktails and viewing one of a kind art exhibits.

Please note that the Smithsonian Institution Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture is only a short 4 block walk from the Grand Hyatt Washington and you will need to enter from the F Street entrance (Click here to view a map). Limited busing will also be available between Grand Hyatt Washington and Smithsonian Institution Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture. A coat check will be available. Please note that all bags will need to go through a security bag check.

Closing Night Reception
Tuesday, 20 May
19:30 – 21:30

The Closing Night Reception will take place at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. This museum, located just 2 blocks from the Grand Hyatt Washington (Click here to view a map), showcases a comprehensive survey of art by women from the 16th century to the present. Come and enjoy drinks and foods while saying goodbye to old friends and new as we end another successful ACTE Global Education Conference. Docents will be available for museum tours. Please note that limited busing will also be provided between the Grand Hyatt Washington and National Museum of Women in the Arts.

International Business Lounge

This area, open to all attendees, is where you can check e-mails, browse the web, or find a quiet spot to use your mobile phone. The chairs, tables and couches provided are perfect for any impromptu business meetings or to just relax between sessions.

ACTE’s "birds of a feather" lunches facilitate networking, benchmarking and idea-sharing among delegates with the same functional area, geographic responsibility, and corporate travel industry interests.
