Alexandria, VA --
Don Hubbard, Managing Director, Global Security, PricewaterhouseCoopers, will provide a presentation addressing managing risks associated with employee travel at the Association of Corporate Travel Executive’s (ACTE) Executive Forum in New York, 8 November 2007. Mr. Hubbard will provide meaning to corporate duty of care within the context of corporate business travel.
“With corporate travel set to double by 2010, corporations have rightfully become more concerned with potential legal liability under developing duty of care concepts,” commented Susan Gurley, ACTE Executive Director. “These standards of care apply to organizations working both domestically and abroad. As such, ACTE has been at the forefront of alerting members and organizations of the where and when impact can occur.”
Additionally, Mr. Hubbard will join business travel colleagues at the ACTE Global Education Conference in Munich, 21-23 October 2007, to present an in-depth analysis on the issue of organizational liability relating to duty of care regulations in light of globalization, traveler tracking techniques and the lack of sufficient travel policies. This education session, entitled “Risk Management & Duty of Care”, will be held Tuesday, 23 October 2007, at the ArabellaSheraton Grand Hotel Munchen.
Additional sessions at the New York Executive Forum, 8 November 2007, include “Airport Congestion: When can we expect some relief?” presented by Dr. George Donohue, Director of the Center for Air Transportation Systems Research, “Traveling into My Space” hosted by Tony D’Astolfo, Vice President of Travel Services, Rearden Commerce, and “Aviation Forecast for 2008.”
