Buenos Aires, Argentina -- The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and La Cumbre, have entered into a strategic alliance to provide enhanced education benefits to the corporate travel management community attending La Cumbre, The Americas Travel Industry Summit, September 5-7, 2007 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
ACTE will develop two education sessions for La Cumbre, the first of which will be on the MICE segment in Latin American, and second will be on management skills.
"ACTE has had a long-term commitment toward advancing the business travel management profession in Mexico, Central and South America.” Greeley Koch, ACTE President stated, “we are pleased by this opportunity to join La Cumbre in furthering the growth and education of travel management in the region."
When reached for comment on the upcoming alliance, La Cumbre Managing Director Gaston Isoldi stated, “We are more than pleased to work with ACTE in order to professionalize our industry in this region.”
The 2007 La Cumbre event, will attract more than 1,200 suppliers, buyers, and journalists from across the Americas. This is the first time ACTE and La Cumbre are partnering together, reflecting the growing demands and importance of ACTE membership expansion in Latin America.
