ACTE EMEA Holds Roundtable in Dubai
First Ever in Gulf Region
The Association of Corporate Travel Executives
(ACTE) would like to thank Jumeirah for hosting a Roundtable Discussion for
ACTE members in the Gulf Region on January 19th at the Jumeirah Emirates
Tower in Dubai. This was the first event held by ACTE in the region and was
designed to give regional executives the chance to meet and discuss issues
and opportunities in the Gulf and how ACTE can support their efforts.
This very successful "meeting of the minds" featured in-depth discussions
and helped to narrow the focus on key issues. Representatives from a variety
of travel industry professionals were in attendance as well as members of
ACTE's Board of Directors.
ACTE's Global Education Conference in
Atlanta, May 7 - 9, 2006 includes sessions that explore how the region is
approaching travel management differently than Western Europe or North
America and why travel management companies in that region are likely to
continue to see their travel budgets grow in the coming year.
