Every new year brings a new set of challenges--or at the least a strengthening of last year’s back burner issues for the travel industry to contend with. Leading the list of portending concerns is the economic wet blanket of recession that appears ready to spread over US business in 2008. That realization will inevitably result in constrained travel budgets and the challenge of doing more with less.
