Reservation Information
The Westin Calgary is offering a special ACTE conference rate of $159.00 CAD single/double per night for a Traditional room (excluding taxes) and $219 CAD single/double per night for a Westin Business room (excluding taxes) during the conference dates. The Westin Business Rooms are located in the Tower Building and come with the following complimentary items: calls to anywhere in North America, local and access calls, high speed internet and bottled spring water.
Should you wish to come in earlier on the weekend, a special rate of $149.00 CAD single/double for a Traditional room (excluding taxes) is offered per night as long as you stay from Friday, November 16 and depart no earlier than Tuesday, November 20.
To reserve, call the hotel directly at 403-266-1611 or book through the Central Reservation Office at 1-800-937-8461, and mention the Association of Corporate Travel Executives. To hold a room past 6:00 pm, a credit card will be required at the time of booking.
Cancellation: Full refund is applicable to guestrooms cancelled within 24 hours prior to the day of arrival.
Early Departure Fee: Upon arrival, review and confirm your check out date with the hotel to avoid any possible early departure fees.
Guestrooms are expected to book up quickly and we encourage you to reserve your room without delay. Reservations must be made by October 26, 2007. After this date, rooms will be available on a space and rate available basis.
The Westin Calgary is a smoke free hotel. Any one that smokes in their hotel room will be charged a $200 cleaning fee upon check-out.
ACTE is proud to be hosting the 2007 ACTE Canada Education Conference at the Westin Calgary due to their green initiatives. Some of their initiatives include:
- The entire hotel has been re-lamped with high efficiency, energy saving lighting using T-8 Ballast, Wattmiser Fluorescence and PL bulbs. Wherever possible lighting loads are reduced with the use of Photocells and/or motion detectors.
- All guest rooms are equipped with water saving fixtures in the shower, toilet and sinks.
- All the kitchen and laundry equipment is being replaced with energy efficient technology.
- All glassware, tin cans, paper, cardboard, bottles and cans are recycled and each guest room is equipped with a recycling bin.
- During slow periods floors are shut down and temperatures adjusted to conserve energy.
- Guests are given the option of not having their linens and towels changed everyday of their stay to conserve energy, water and detergents that are used in the laundering process.
