Ground Transportation – Getting to and from the airport

TAXI
There is a taxi stand to the left of the main airport exit. The journey to the CCIB and surrounding area is approximately 25-30 minutes depending on traffic. The price is anywhere from 25-35 euros but this is subject to change and based on traffic and the amount luggage you have. Please note that the Barcelona taxis are black and yellow and are obligated by law to only charge the amount on the meter (plus the luggage surcharge). The tariffs are on the side of the taxi. It is also commonplace to give a small tip.
Aerobus
The airport bus runs every 15 minutes stopping at Plaza Espana and then downtown Plaza Cataluna. The price of a ticket is 3.45 Euros. From there you can take the Underground.

RENFE Trains
The RENFE train service runs every 30 minutes between the airport and the city centre with stops at the Saints and Cataluna stations. The journey takes about 30 minutes. A simple ticket to Sants and Cataluna stations costs 2.40 Euros. From there you can take the Barcelona Underground
