Golf Tournament:

ACTE conference golfers were impressed with Bear’s Best Atlanta golf course which was named one of the “Top 40 America’s Best Courses” in 2005 by Golf Week Magazine.

Sponsored by, MasterCard, the ACTE MASTERCARD GOLF CHALLENGE was a huge success despite the rain. With 78 participants, several attendees came out on top. The winning foursome was comprised of Kevin Austin, Derek Beveridge and Todd Kaiser of Hi-Mark Software and Bob Langsfeld of The Corporate Solutions Group.

ACTE Membership Booth 

The ACTE booth offered members and non-members alike important information on industry news and association initiatives. The membership booth also allowed attendees to gain more information on new ACTE member benefits and other ACTE events including our 2006 Asia-Pacific Regional Conference to be held in Singapore, 23-24 August and our 2006 Global Education Conference in Barcelona to be held 22-24 October.

Whether you were a new member or first time attendee (or both), you did not want to miss this session. ACTE Leaders helped new members and first-time attendees discover how to utilize ACTE member benefits, answer your questions about the conference and lead discussion on industry issues of importance to you. Additionally, it allowed conference attendees to network with other new members and first time attendees in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Opening Night Reception

The Opening Night Reception was a chance to re-connect with old friends and mingle with our industry’s leading minds at the World’s Largest Aquarium. With over 8 million gallons of fresh and marine water, and 100,000 animals representing 500 species from around the globe, the new Georgia Aquarium was a huge successes. Attendees indulged in several cuisines created by the world famous chef, Wolfgang Puck. The Opening Night Reception entertainment included two beluga whales, whale-sharks, and variety of fishes.

Conference participants enjoyed the closing night reception, sponsored by Japan Airlines. The event featured the sounds of Japan Airline’s Jazz Reunion. Attendees enjoyed cocktails and food while networking with friends, colleagues and leading industry experts.
