ACTE WEB CAST SERIES
Washington Update

The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) is proud to present the business travel industry with an overview of the crisis that has befallen the airline industry, and by extension, all travel and tourism segments.

It is ACTE's hope that by providing a balanced picture of industry and government developments, it can stimulate debate, create greater industry participation in important public policy deliberations and encourage better government and industry policy.

The presentation currently being offered has been developed by Kevin Mitchell, Chairman, Business Travel Coalition and will be shared in the form of a 20 minute Web cast wherein Kevin Mitchell will present a PowerPoint presentation with a voiceover explanation of each slide. ACTE is pleased to provide this web cast to the business travel industry without charge.

The presentation will include review of the following:

• The financial health of the airline industry prior to September 11
• The financial consequences faced by airlines in the aftermath of September 11
• The components of the federal package to assist airlines
• The structure for administering federal grants and loan guarantees
• The issues that the industry will face in the weeks and months ahead

This presentation will be archived for 30 days and can be found at the
