ETABid™ partners with ACTE to offer ACTE members e-RFP tools to improve the RFP process for buyer and supplier members

Alexandria, VA -- The tendering process for corporate travel buyers and suppliers is set to be transformed by a ground-breaking agreement in which Association of Corporate Travel Executives will promote e-RFP tool provider ETABid™ to its membership at a special rate.

ETABid™ automates the entire RFP process for sourcing travel management companies, self-booking tools and car rental suppliers. Additional e-RFP products for ground transportation and expense and payment systems will be launched this fall. On average, ETABid™ reduces the time that buyers spend on an RFP by 70 per cent and administration costs for vendors by 51 per cent.

Other benefits include better-informed selection of vendors, a more transparent evaluation process and, for buyers, improved consultation with internal stakeholders.

ETABid’s e-RFP features include:

Library - a detailed set of questions about business travel, which the buyer can select and
customize
Pricing models - enables like-for-like comparisons
Evaluation tool – weighting system provides detailed but easy-to-follow analysis
Collaboration – shares critical information with buyer’s project team
Project management – documents and stores all events in the project

The agreement signed by ACTE gives both buyer and supplier members a substantial discount on ETABid’s fees. ETABid has been used for corporate travel RFPs in the US and throughout Europe.
