Through ACTE and the expertise of American Express, these three PowerTalks will cover every point.”
Each presentation will be structured on Amex’s 2006 study on business travel and expense management, which includes an in-depth review of practices spanning 500 mid to large-sized companies. The program will be presented by Shawn Klerer, Vice President & General Manager, Business Travel Canada, American Express and Andrew Pilkington, Vice President & General Manager, Global Commercial Card Canada, American Express in Toronto. Shawn Klerer will repeat the session in Vancouver with Aileen Trescher, Vice President, Relationship Management, Global Commercial Card Canada, American Express, and then partner with Andrew Pilkington once again to present in Ottawa.
“We’re proud to partner with ACTE to present the results of our 2006 travel management and business expense study,” says Shawn Klerer. “ACTE members will be among the first to learn more about this exciting study and gain insight into current trends and the best solutions to incorporate into their own program.”
“Each of these PowerTalks, and others scheduled for Canada, are part of an inverted educational pyramid, in which international issues are taken and honed until they are are a perfect fit for regional applications,” said Susan Gurley. “Our Canadian educational program is part of a logical progression of industry analysis and problem solving that leads to closure at our Barcelona Global Education Conference (22-24 October 2006) and the Canada Educational Conference in Montreal (19-21 November 2006).
