Nine-year industry veteran and global corporate travel professional, Megan Stowe, Global Strategic Sourcing Manager – Employee Services for Intel Corporation, was re-elected to the Board of Directors for the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE). Stowe previously held the Asia-Pacific Board Member position and was re-elected to the At-large Board position. Stowe joined ACTE leadership in 2006.
“We are delighted to have Megan Stowe continue her role as an ACTE Board Member,” said ACTE President Richard Crum. “She has contributed a great deal to ACTE’s vision during her tenure on the Board of Directors, and I have no doubt we, and the business travel industry, will continue to benefit from her expertise and knowledge.”

Stowe has nine years of experience on the corporate side of the travel industry, covering global hotel sourcing and serving as EMEA, Asia and Latin America travel manager for Intel. Currently, Stowe has overall responsibility for the strategic sourcing program covering all travel related areas, including agency, hotel, ground transportation, air and meetings, as well as relocation and immigration with her global team, along with other areas of Human Resources.
Stowe previously worked in a country and regional role for Intel in marketing events management and procurement in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. Prior to Intel, Stowe worked for Warner Lambert Park Davis as an events manager.
Stowe grew up in Africa and has lived in Australia, Asia and Europe. She has a degree from the University of Cape Town, and a further diploma from the University of South Africa.
She will begin her three-year term on the ACTE Board in January 2009.
Business Travel News named Stowe the 2008 International Travel Manager of the Year at the opening session of ACTE’s Global Education Conference in Rome this October.
