ACTE BESTOWS "DISTINGUISHED FELLOW" HONORS ON SEVEN MEMBERS

Alexandria, Va. -- The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has awarded the title of “Distinguished Fellow” upon seven of its faculty members for exceptional educational achievement during its recent Global Education Conference in Rome (5-7 October). The designation was earned by a personal score of 3.7 or higher (1 = poor, 4 = excellent) the presenters received from attendees to their education session.  Of the nearly 90 presenters among the education sessions, only seven were awarded with this distinction.

The ACTE Distinguished Fellows for the Rome Global Education Conference are:

“The Rome Global Education Conference marked a change in evaluation criteria for the ACTE Distinguished Fellow recognition.  In the past, presenters in the single education session that scored the highest regardless of individual scores determined the award recipients,” Kate Farrell, ACTE Global Education Director, said. “This year a decision was made to focus on the best presenters, who deftly combined knowledge-sharing and presentation skills for delivering the best value to attendees.  This change reflects ACTE’s newer focus on showcasing the high quality talent that the association draws to its conferences.”
