“The Rome Global Education Conference marked a change in evaluation criteria for the ACTE Distinguished Fellow recognition. In the past, presenters in the single education session that scored the highest regardless of individual scores determined the award recipients,” Kate Farrell, ACTE Global Education Director, said. “This year a decision was made to focus on the best presenters, who deftly combined knowledge-sharing and presentation skills for delivering the best value to attendees. This change reflects ACTE’s newer focus on showcasing the high quality talent that the association draws to its conferences.”
In 2009, ACTE’s two Global Education Conferences will be held in Washington, D.C., 5-7 April, and Prague, 25-27 October. For more information, and to register for the conferences, please go to www.acte.org.
