For those pursuing the Certified Meeting Professional Designation (CMP), the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) is pleased to announce that two sessions at its Asia-Pacific Education Conference in Singapore, 20-21 August 2008 may be eligible for Continuing Education Credits.
“Since its inception, ACTE has been about education,” said Kenneth Phua, ACTE Asia-Pacific Regional Director. “Certification programs elevate the role of the business travel industry professional. We will continue to work with organizations like the Convention Industry Council (CIC), and to support accreditation programs such as the CMP Designation.”
Sessions are offered in varied formats and give attendees the opportunity to interact with peers and subject matter experts. Each session is designed with the travel buyer in mind, and will provide real-world solutions and resources that can be used immediately.
Currently, the sessions that qualify are:

- Strategic Meetings Management – Making It Work in the Real World
