The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has named Imran Changezi, Director of Corporate Sales, Global, Jumeirah Group, as the new Regional Chair of the ACTE Middle East and Africa Region. Imran Changezi is a seasoned hotelier with extensive experience within the Middle East Region and has served ACTE Membership as an associate of the Dubai Executive Forum Committee.
Since joining the hotel industry, Imran has held numerous high ranking positions including Rooms Division & Sales functions. His corporate sales career began as a Sales Manager at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in 2000, followed by his appointment as a Senior Corporate Sales Manager at Burj Al Arab. From 2002 through 2006, Imran played a significant role in establishing the Jumeirah Group Key Account Management structure while acting initially as a Key Account Corporate Sales Manager for the Gulf region and then as Assistant Director of Corporate Sales for the Middle East region in 2004. In 2006, Imran Changezi was named Director of Corporate Sales, Global based in Jumeirah Group’s sales head office in Dubai.
Today, Imran plays a key role in Jumeirah Group’s Business Travel segment strategy setting, Annual Corporate & Consortia RFP solicitation processes, Global TMC / Consortia partnerships, and setting internal sales policies and procedures relating to the Business Travel segment. Imran is currently doing his Executive MBA with the world renowned London Business School.
