Alexandria, Va -- The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has confirmed Ian Till, South East Asia Head, Talent, Leadership and Engagement, Talent & Organization Consulting, Hewitt Associates, as a keynote speaker for their 2007 Asia-Pacific Education Conference in Singapore, August 22-23. Till's keynote address will reveal the latest trends behind the use of talent in building successful organizations.
ACTE's Executive Director, Susan Gurley, commented that "Ian Till's participation in this conference will add timely insight into the philosophical differences in leadership strategies between the West and the East.” Gurley went on to say that through Till’s keynote presentation, conference participants will hear about the work force of the future, globalization, and what trends in these areas mean for the Asia Pacific region and the rest of the world.
Till is an expert on talent and leadership, and will focus his presentation on the issues that corporations in Asia must address in developing a blend of management that works best for their individual situations. He will also discuss the latent potential of the Asian psyche in establishing new benchmarks of business excellence, and whether or not the westernization of talent management practice is an unstoppable trend.
When reached for comment Till said, "ACTE's commitment to the region is commendable. I think this conference will provide an excellent opportunity for the region to focus on the growing needs and tremendous potential of the business travel industry in Southeast Asia and its impact on the global community."
