London, UK --
The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and the Institute of Travel Management (ITM) have announced their second collaborative venture at the Eye For Travel Show in London’s Business Design Centre on May 24th 2007.
The three quarter day education partnership forum examines the changing world of travel management and includes keynote presentations on Duty of Care and Corporate Manslaughter by Mark Merryon of Kennedys and Strategic Meetings Management.
There will also be two full panel sessions on managing risk in today’s travel management programme and ascertaining if video conferencing really is a viable alternative to corporate travel. Speakers at the event include Bill Doull, Supply Manager, Unilever, Mark Avery, Head of Business Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Catriona Armstrong of Cranfield University.
The over 100 delegates expected to attend will receive strong tangible guidance, advice and hear corporate case studies from their industry peers on these extremely topical challenges facing today’s travel managers.
As previously mentioned, this is the second time the two associations will partner following a highly successful event at Eye for Travel Show in 2006.
Susan Gurley, Executive Director for ACTE said, “I am delighted to once again be working with ITM to highlight and discuss issues that affect the international travel community.”
Paul Tilstone, Executive Director for ITM said, “Working with other associations as part of our Partnership Forum programme allows us to bring a different perspective to our members. This is the first of our partnership forums for 2007 and it has come about from the highly successful event we ran this time last year with ACTE.”
ACTE and ITM members attend the event for free and non members have a nominal £79.00 charge for the day. Delegates and PRESS can register HERE - http://www.acte.org/events/details.php?id=128. As a reminder all PRESS may attend ACTE Events for free of charge.
