Atlanta, GA -- Attendance at the Association of Corporate Travel Executives' (ACTE) Global Education Conference in Atlanta, GA hit 1,169 yesterday, surpassing all previous attendance records in the organization's 18-year history.
Twenty-three countries are represented by conference delegates, with attendees from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, Republic of Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States.
"This marks a continued growth record for ACTE educational events as the ACTE Global Education Conference in London, October 23-25, 2005 was the largest EMEA Conference in the association’s history. ACTE's Asia-Pacific Regional Education Conference in Singapore, August 24-25, 2005 was the largest association-sponsored event in Asia," said Executive Director Susan Gurley. Gurley announced yesterday that ACTE’s global membership now represents 48 countries and her goal is to raise it to 50 by the Fall.
