ACTE Names Annemarie Reininger as Canada Regional Chair at ACTE Canada Education Conference in Montreal

Alexandria, VA -- Gearing up for Canadian market demands after the sold-out Canada Education Conference in Montreal, the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has named Annemarie Reininger, Manager of Global Supplier Relationships, MDS Inc., as ACTE Canada Regional Chair, effective January 1, 2007.

According to association Executive Director Susan Gurley, “ACTE’s commitment to education, networking, and advancement of the business travel industry through the auspices of global and regional leadership is essential to success. The Regional Chair input and expertise in the development of the ACTE mission has been, and persists to be, fundamental in assessing issues of relevance to members. The Association would like to thank outgoing Canada Chair Onita Dey-Frankian whose efforts have shaped ACTE Canada and provide a strong foundation upon which Annemarie Reininger will build.”

Reininger’s appointment was announced at the first-annual ACTE Canada Education Conference in Montreal, which drew over 250 participants from across North America. In addition to announcing the appointed Canada regional chair, ACTE publicized that the second-annual ACTE Canada Education Conference will be held in Calgary, November 18-20, 2007.
