Agency and Hotel industries testify before the Senate Subcommittee

The Chairman and CEO of Rosenbluth International, Hal Rosenbluth, was asked by the Senate to represent the travel agency industry and testify on October 12 before the Subcommittee on Consumer Affairs, Foreign Commerce and Tourism of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. Also testifying was William Marriott, Chairman of the Marriott Corporation, who represented the hotel industry. This hearing, chaired by Senator Ernest F. Hollings, will focus on the affects on the travel and tourism industry resulting from the tragedy of September 11, 2001.

Hal will be representing the industry and demonstrating the role it plays in the nation's commerce as the only viable infrastructure for airline distribution and fulfillment.
