ACTE Leadership Extends President's Term to Two Years

Alexandria, VA (Aug. 12) -The Association of Corporate Travel Executives' (ACTE) Board of Directors recently voted a major by-laws change that extends the president's term of office to two years. "This decision reflects the consensus that a president needs two years to introduce new programs and bring them through all stages of development," said ACTE Chairman Garth Jopling. "We anticipate this change will allow greater continuity and a stronger focus on our strategic initiatives, without having to change leadership."

The change is effective 1 January 2006 and extends Greeley Koch's term in office through 31 December 2006.
