Get Executive Edge With PC Today and Priority Pass
Alexandria , Va (Apr. 26)
-- Two new benefits are driving up the value of membership
in the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE).
PC Today, an online magazine featuring in-depth information
on the latest smartphones, notebooks, wireless technologies,
mobile software & online services, will become immediately
available to association members. Plus, a new partnership
with Priority Pass brings the amenities of 450 business lounges
at airports in 250 cities, spanning 88 countries to ACTE members.
"Keeping abreast of new technology is
almost a full-time job in itself," said ACTE Executive
Director Susan Gurley. "Gaining free access to breaking
technology news, developments, and updates will save our members
time and money. With amenities in decline under financial
pressure, access to business lounges around the world can
greatly add to traveler productivity and comfort."
PC Today also covers travel-related topics,
including GPS systems, airport and airline security, and essential
advice for dealing with business travel emergencies. ACTE
members will begin receiving instructions for setting up their
username and password for their complimentary six-month subscriptions
in the next few days.
When joining Priority Pass, ACTE members
receive corporate rates plus one complimentary Standard membership
for each Standard Plus or Prestige level of membership that
is enrolled with Priority Pass. This offer is valid through
September 30, 2006. Each membership allows travelers to:
• Check email & access the internet
• Make telephone calls
• Host business meetings
• Work in a business environment while waiting for flights
"ACTE's partnerships with PC Today
and Priority Pass are part of our ongoing commitment to provide
our members with additional options that save them time and
their companies' money, while boosting productivity for the
travel department or the traveler," said Gurley. "Additional
partnerships are in negotiation."
As ever, member contact data is secure and not offered for
sale. Complete details regarding these new membership benefits
can be found at www.acte.org.
