Colleen Guhin has just joined Motorola
as Global Travel Manager for the company's Semiconductor Products Sector
(SPS), based in Phoenix. She tells ACTE Quarterly that her first responsibility
will be to select and install an automated booking system for SPS worldwide,
which spends roughly $130M on T&E. Guhin, currently ACTE's Vice President
of Education, was previously the Travel Manager for Texas Instruments.
Daniela Fayer has recently been
named Manager, Marketing Communications for Unysis Outsourcing, a department
within the Unisys Information Services Division based in Reston, Virginia.
She was previously Corporate Marketing Manager at SatoTravel. Unisys Outsourcing
has also recently appointed a new managing director, John Haville, formerly
of BTI Americas.
Betty Ryan, formerly Manager of
Corporate Travel for Monsanto, has joined American Express as Manager of
Account Development in Seattle.
Honora Horne was recently named
UK Corporate Travel Manager 1998 at Business Travel World's Awards held
earlier this year. She is Executive Director for Goldman Sachs International
in London.
As part of a restructuring of the U.S. sales force for Air France, Richard Pasciuto has been appointed Director
of Eastern Region Sales. Formerly Director of Global Corporate Sales at
US Airways, Pasciuto began his airline career 19 years ago with US Airways
and its predecessor, Piedmont Airlines. He will be responsible for Air
France's Eastern gateway cities and territory including New York, Newark
and Washington, D.C.
Tim Reilly has been named Director
of Sales, Southcentral Region, for Budget Rent A Car. Reilly was formerly
National Account Manager for Avis, based in Newark, New Jersey.
George Johnson, a charter member
of ACTE and Co-Chair of ACTE Global Budapest, has joined Worldspan as Sales
Manager. Johnson will be based in San Francisco.
Nancy Bruner, Manager of Worldwide
Travel Services for Cargill Incorporated, has been honored by being invited
to participate in the American Business Women's Delegation to China, June
4-18, 1998 "The trip's mission is to create a dialog between the delegates
and Chinese women; to share information that will lead to greater productivity
for both the Chinese and Americans, and to promote the sharing of information,
support and learning opportunities," Bruner told ACTE Quarterly. Part
of the delegation's work will be a comparison of business management systems
and an examination of areas of potential bilateral cooperation.
