While the European Commission continues to grapple with its final ruling on CRS Code of Conduct Reform and in light of the unveiling of new proposals to shift distribution cost to corporations, one thing is for certain: GDS regulatory changes will occur. What is less clear is how the primary end-users in the distribution chain— corporate travel buyers—should best prepare. At the end of every year TMC’s are providing their analysis on business travel in Europe and how it will evolve in the following year. Emmanuel Vercruysse, European Purchasing Category Manager, LHoist will explain how he compiles this information and turns it into a business travel trends dashboard allowing travel Managers to benchmark and create their own frame facilitating and supporting their strategies and decision processes.
