Uncertain times demand innovative thinking and change. A methodology that drives innovative performance and process improvements is Lean Six Sigma, which many companies use to increase operational effectiveness, limit redundant practices, improve customer service and identify cost-savings. This session will introduce you to Lean Six Sigma and incorporate practical applications for travel management.
We will begin with an introduction to some basic Lean Six Sigma concepts and their application to travel management. The focus will then shift to helping you think about applying Lean Six Sigma to improve your own environment. Working in small groups, (on an issue relevant to you), you will begin to learn how Lean Six Sigma can help you identify and solve the problems that are impeding process improvements in your workplace.
Our facilitator for the day will be Jeff Holland, a Senior Manager within the Process and Innovation Performance service line at Accenture in Canada, specializing in Lean Six Sigma. Jeff works with clients at all levels of their organization to help transform their operations and processes to deliver operational excellence.
