Emerging Strategies That Address an Ever Changing Business Landscape
Helsinki, Finland
25 September 2006
Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa
In 2006 we have seen Business travel faced with a whole new set of conditions—new business destinations, shifting market dynamics—as it continues to adjust to the imprint of disciplined procurement practices in the sourcing of travel services and products. This ACTE Executive Forum has been especially developed for the Nordic business travel professionals and to tap into the region’s expertise to discuss both the challenges and solutions these conditions have rendered.
The day will begin by sharing best practices from the perspectives of corporates, TMCs and hoteliers for optimizing hotel spend. The Forum will then review sourcing tools available in the market and examines the varied results from these tools in procuring business travel services. Following a roundtable discussion that will survey attendees and compare their responses to a ACTE/Business week survey, the day will conclude with a discussion on the business environment and the recent experiences by leading Nordic companies to establish managed business travel in Asia.
