Additionally, four ACTE members will receive President's Awards in recognition of their contributions to the
association during 1999:

United States: David Ogilvie, vice president of corporate travel for New York-based Starwood Hotels & Resorts, for his participation as a member of the ACTE Board of Governors.

Canada: Alain Legault, travel and conference manager for Canada Post Corporation, for his membership recruitment and education efforts in the Ottawa area.

Europe: Annika Ortmark-Sellebo, consultant and partner with Stockholm-based Ortmark & Consultants, for her instrumental role in the successful ACTE European education program.

Asia: Kenneth Phua (not able to attend the convention), a Singapore-based associate publisher for Miller Freeman Corporation, for his efforts in promoting ACTE throughout Asia.

"It's important to note that these individuals were nominated by their colleagues for these prestigious awards," explained ACTE President Earl Foster. "The difficult part was narrowing the field of candidates, since so many individuals contribute to the success of our organization."
