PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for review, Webcast presentation proposals should meet the following criteria:

  • Offer timely information on industry, economic and political trends
    or issues that impact business travel management globally

  • Share leading edge information from the buyer's perspective about
    the practices and tools that strategically advance travel management

  • Refrain from directly or indirectly promoting particular products or services

The Webcast audience includes senior corporate travel managers, finance directors, purchasing professionals, vice-presidents, industry consultants and industry suppliers from the airline, hotel, car, card, agency, and travel technology communities world-wide. Participants are interested only in the latest, most up-to-date, experience-based knowledge. Because webcasts are promoted and accessible via ACTE's web site, anyone visiting the site who is interested in the topic to be presented may also register.

Selection Criteria: Your proposal will be judged on:

Content
Are the ideas presented relevant and significant to the priority content areas listed above?
Are the concepts introduced useful and practical? Cutting-edge? Visionary?

Format
Is the scope appropriate to the time limitation of 50 minutes and the Webcast format of slides and voice over?
Is the material presented logically and adaptable to a slide & audio presentation?

Presenter(s)
Is there a demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter?
Is the speaker a credible source of the information, as demonstrated in his/her bio?
Is there evidence of effective presentation skills?

Guidelines
Standard Webcast sessions are 50 minutes with 10 minutes of Q&A;
Three (3) is the maximum allowable number of presenters for a panel
Sales pitches for products or services disguised as proposals will not be accepted.
Notification will be sent to the proposal author or primary speaker for accepted proposals only. Generally, this will be within one month of submission. It is then the responsibility of the proposal author/primary speaker to notify any co-presenters of the proposal acceptance.
Please do not plan to offer a panel presentation unless you have a definite commitment that the other panelists will assist you with the presentation.
