The Future of Business Travel

You have no doubt by now heard us speaking about how much the business travel industry is in need of fresh approaches and new material. We have also been very vocal about our work in attracting new and youthful talent to our industry. Our 33/3 recognition program is designed to make a difference across all of those fronts. We are looking to identify the newest and brightest thinkers touching our industry today and will be announcing three winners in each of three separate regions (the Americas, Europe/Middle East/Aftrica, and Asia Pacific) during our conferences there over the course of the next twelve months.

Qualifications for recognition are simple. Potential winners need to:

• Be around or under the age of 33;
• Have implemented a new idea, a fresh approach, or a new product or service in support of business travel sometime in the previous twelve months;
• Submit themselves or be submitted by someone by completing the application below.
  

In addition to self submissions and/or having an acquaintance or colleague submitting prospects, former ACTE presidents and the current ACTE Board Members will be quietly seeking out prospects and submitting lists of their own. All candidates will then be reviewed by a review committee consisting of ACTE leaders and regional chairs and submitted to a vote from which the three people will be recognized in each region.

Winners from the Americas region will be announced during our global education conference in New York City in April; the Asia Pacific winners will be announced during our regional conference in Singapore in August; and, winners from the EMEA region will be announced during our global conference in Paris in October.

And then there will be the Global 3!

Also during our global conference in Paris we will be selecting the top three from the nine regional finalists and the voters will be you. Each candidate and their ideas will be showcased on our website and everyone will have an opportunity to review and make their own choice as to who will be the 2011 top 3 under 33 winners.
