Business Travel Experts Evaluate 2002 To Plan For 2003
(Singapore, 5 November) Corporate decision makers want to understand the uncertainties that may threaten the health of the business travel industry in 2003. The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has gathered a group of expert panelists to address this issue in two Executive Forums on the 19th of November in Hong Kong and the 21st of November in Singapore.
Panels representing key constituents of business travel management will analyze the state of the industry in 2002 and present strategic considerations for the year ahead. The discussions will entail a thorough examination of principal issues that impacted the industry in Asia-Pacific markets and reveal potential threats and opportunities for 2003.
The timely and significant nature of these events reveals that the association is maintaining the same kind of industry responsiveness that led to their development of the "sold out" Asia-Pacific Training Workshop in August. According to Michael Molloy, vice president, Internal Client Services Group for Credit Suisse First Boston, "our community needs the type of proactive guidance that ACTE is offering… it is crucial that travel managers in Asia and throughout the world draw valuable lessons from the challenges of 2002." Executive Forum attendees will have the opportunity to do just that in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Panel experts include corporate clients from organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, who will discuss issues that have impacted their jobs and business travel activity. Also on the panels are senior executives representing hotel companies, airlines, travel technology providers and travel management companies.
Interested parties can register for these forums and find a detailed agenda on the ACTE website, WWW.ACTE.ORG.
