EMEA Regional Manager

What is ACTE? The Association of Corporate Travel Executives is a multi-national community supporting the business of corporate travel across all industries. It's a global association made up of over 2,500 executives committed to finding greater efficiencies, boosting traveler productivity and guaranteeing a higher return on corporate travel investment.

Overview: The position of EMEA Regional Manager is responsible for the growth and well being of the association in the region. The position is viewed as an operational staff position, reporting to association headquarters as defined by the Executive Director, and has responsibility for the following areas: Membership, Education Programming, Regional Leader & Volunteer Support, Finance, Sponsorship & Advertising Sales, Communications, Event Logistics and Strategic-Operational Alignment.

Specific duties and responsibilities under each category are as follows:

Membership

  • Recruitment
  • Retention
  • Operational Oversight
Education Programming
  • Direct Regional Forum Programming
  • Support Global Conference Programming
Regional Leader Support
  • Regional Chair
  • Regional Council
  • Education Committees
  • Ad hoc Committees
Finance
  • Preparation of Budget
  • Monthly Budget Reconciliation
Sponsorship Sales
  • Primary responsibility for EMEA sponsorship relationships
  • Setting and achieving advertising goals for Global Business Journal, ACTE website & membership directory
  • Setting and achieving goals for President Circle, Executive Circle, Conference, Forum, Webcast and ACTE Initiative Sponsorships
Communications
  • Internal Communications
  • - Staff operational reporting
    - Support web updates, ACTE Update, Individual member inquiries/responses
  • External Communications
  • - Press Releases
    - Industry communications
Event Logistics
  • Support identification and negotiation of Forum sites.
Strategic-Operational Alignment
  • Coordinate board strategic direction with Regional operation.
Defined annual goals and objectives will be established for each area. ACTE retains the right to adjust duties and responsibilities as defined by the Executive Director in order to meet the goals and objectives of the association.
