Full Slate of Regional Forums Scheduled in 1997
ACTE to Conduct 15 Educational Seminars Around the World
Washington, DC - The Association of Corporate Travel Executives announced its 1997 Regional Forum schedule, with 12 forums to be held in North America and 3 in Europe. Regional Forums are one-day educational seminars designed to provide valuable information to ACTE members during the hiatus between the association's Annual Member's Conference and the ACTE Global Conference.
"Regional Forums are an excellent way for ACTE to reach out its members as well as other corporate travel professionals," commented Colleen Guhin, ACTE's Vice President of Education. "We are pleased to be able to provide quality education on a variety of topics including the latest industry trends, state-of-the-art technology, and other relevant issues."
Twelve Regional Forums will be held in North America: February 28, Marriott East Side, New York, NY; March 25, Omni Mandalay Hotel, Dallas, TX; May 12, Hyatt Regency, Cambridge, MA; June 3, Renaissance Washington D.C. Hotel, Washington, DC; July 28, Doubletree Hotel, San Francisco, CA; August 13, Minneapolis, MN (hotel to be determined);
August 14, Renaissance Waverly Hotel, Atlanta, GA; September 11, Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue, Philadelphia, PA; October 15, Delta Chelsea Inn, Toronto, Ontario; November 18, Delta Bow Valley, Calgary, Alberta; December 4, Renaissance Hotel, Chicago; and December 8, Madison Hotel, Morristown, NJ.
Three Regional Forums will be held in Europe in 1997, with two in London and one in another European city yet to be determined. The Royal Garden Hotel in London will host to a Regional Forum on May 9.
