Washington, D.C. -- The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) announced that it will hold its 1997 ACTE Global conference in Berlin, Germany. The conference, themed "ACTE Global 1997...Gateway to Solutions", will be held November 2-4, 1997 at the Radisson/SAS hotel located in the historic, cultural and business center of Berlin. More than
500 leading corporate travel professionals from around the world are expected to attend the conference.
"ACTE Global 1997 will focus on meeting the immediate and future needs of the corporate travel professional in the global marketplace", commented Mark Williams, Associate Director at Price Waterhouse and co-chair of ACTE Global 1997. "The planning committee is developing a comprehensive program that addresses technology, travel management, human service and global issues."
Recognized leaders from all sectors of the corporate travel industry will be prominently involved in the two-day conference. Included in the program will be keynote addresses by leading professionals; illustration and application of the latest technologies; interactive participation; and resolution of issues. Topics to be addressed include automated expense reporting, changes in worldwide distribution, Internet/Intranet issues, benchmarking, global negotiations, multicultural internal communications, and the latest information on the European Union.
In addition to the superb educational program, ACTE Global 1997 will also provide cultural opportunities for participants as well as exceptional special events at some of Berlin's most beautiful and historic sites.
