TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY SPOTLIGHTS ACTE X NEW ORLEANS
Annual Members Conference to Feature Innovative Educational Program

Washington, DC - The Association of Corporate Travel Executives will celebrate its ten year anniversary at the upcoming Annual Members Conference to be held in New Orleans, May 31-June 3, 1998. The conference, themed "Best Practices and All That Jazz" will return to the site of ACTE’s first annual members conference, the New Orleans Hilton & Towers.

To commemorate its ten year anniversary, ACTE will launch an exciting year-long celebration including the issuance of a commemorative issue of the ACTE Quarterly and special recognition throughout the year of various members who have made significant contributions to the association during the past ten years.

The ACTE X planning committee is currently developing an impressive list of industry experts to conduct interactive educational sessions and deliver keynote presentations at the conference. The educational sessions will cover such relevant topics as supplier distribution strategies; measuring return on investments of software purchases; corporate intranets; expense report automation; contracting for services and products; the changing role of travel agencies and re-engineering the T&E process. The conference will feature a technology track, as well as a professional skills track.

In addition, an influential line-up of keynote speakers have been confirmed. They include:
