ACTE Recognizes Nancy Bruner of Cargill, Incorporated Washington, DC - At its annual ACTE Global conference held in Berlin earlier this month, the Association of Corporate Travel Executives gave special recognition to Nancy Bruner, Manager of Worldwide Travel Services for Cargill, Incorporated by presenting her with the prestigious "Global Vision Award". he "Global Vision Award" is given annually to a corporate travel manager who has made strides in achieving true global travel management. Nominations were solicited from the ACTE membership and selection of the award recipient was made through a nominating committee (made up of a cross-section of ACTE members from around the world). In nominating Ms. Bruner, her industry peers cited several accomplishments including streamlining 500 US travel agencies into a single supplier and 120 non-US agencies into a single supplier; implementing the companys worldwide re-engineering of the travel expense process; negotiating and managing the global travel agency and corporate credit programs and negotiating worldwide preferred suppliers and discounted fares and rates. Ms. Bruner is a charter member of ACTE, has served two terms on the ACTE Board of Governors and established the first annual Minneapolis Regional Forum. "Nancy is truly a visionary when it comes to global travel management," commented ACTE President Earl Foster. "She has provided Cargill with a superb worldwide travel policy affecting more than 73,000 employees at more than 850 locations in 66 countries."
