Information Management: Getting From "Data" to "Wisdom"

In this new environment emphasizing sourcing and procurement practices, data is "king". But the information traditional tools provide are no longer sufficient for the demands of the business. This session will provide a case study approach to how to successfully convert travel expense data into financial intelligence that is easily shared across the enterprise, including a discussion of applying the rigors of procurement practice in this arena as well as minding security and governmental obstacles as it relates to data usage.
