What
is ACTE? |
The
Association of Corporate Travel Executives
is an idea, a philosophy and a movement, representing the specialized
interests of 2,400 business travel management professionals from 34
countries. Founded in 1988 as an educational resource for corporations
seeking to contain rising travel costs, ACTE has grown into a major
international travel management industry forum. It is the proving
ground for new technology, the sounding board for advanced managerial
techniques and the final word in the most comprehensive travel policies
for some of the world’s most prestigious companies.
It’s where corporate consumers, travel service suppliers and consultants
find their common ground — and build on it. |
What
is The Global Conference? |
The
Global Conference
in Montreal will be a torrent of expertise, channeled by renowned
speakers and moderators trained on the burning issues presently facing
the industry. It is where 1,100 travel management professionals will
trade success stories (and the secrets that go with them). This year's
theme "Issues Driven, Solutions Sought" will set the
tone. The issues to be analyzed are recovery, security, crisis management,
data protection and preserving global transportation systems. Our
solutions are geared for long-term resolution (eliminating recurrent
problems from the future). Twenty-two seminars will cover everything
from audits to CTDs, from being e-fulfilled to getting "e-farely"
treated, and from cross-border negotiations to contracts. |
Who
should attend? |
You.
By the time you’ve read this brochure, something in your office will
have changed. Yesterday’s solutions are only half as effective today
and probably won’t work at all tomorrow. ACTE’s Global Conference
is designed to keep you ahead of the change curve. It provides an
advanced perspective for travel managers, procurement specialists,
purchasing agents, executives new to the travel management function,
consultants and any supplier of travel services or support systems.
ACTE Global Conferences are only one component of a global education/communications
endeavor, including a Web site, Global Business Journal (magazine),
ACTE Update (newsletter), Globalinks (e-mail advisories), plus regional
forums and other special presentations. |
