Information for Tomorrow's Strategic Travel Management

London
Novotel London Euston
May 26, 2005

Travel procurement and meeting professionals will explore the importance of information management in future travel management strategy during ACTE London Executive Forum on May 26.
London is among the five cities bidding to host the 2012 Summer Olympics. The day's keynote presenter will give the audience an impressive look at the potential impact the games would have on Britain's travel industry. This opening will set the stage for an insightful look at the relations between Meeting Managers and Travel Procurement Managers. Corporations spend $250 billion on MICE each year yet many companies look at the two processes separately. Participants will discuss the reasoning behind such management decisions.
As sustainable development makes its way into corporate travel, companies in the UK are setting up purchasing strategies that seek out vendors who can demonstrate sustainability as a corporate goal. The morning sessions will be natural transitions to more hands-on panel discussions after a networking lunch. The presenter will share lessons learned from a number of self-booking tool implementations and offer suggestions to attendees for optimizing preparations for the implementation of their self booking tool.
Finally, a panel of experts will tie-in all of the day's discussions with thought provoking insights on what information tomorrow's companies will requireaccess to, to fulfil their travel procurement needs.
