View Presentation: Commission Cuts - No-one will be left unaffected
One only needs to take a look at other parts of the globe to understand that the question is not if commissions will be eliminated, but when will this occur. Certainly this movement by many airlines elsewhere has meant the redefinition of the business relationship between corporate travel programmes and their agency partners.
How does the dominant carrier in South Africa plan to roll this out? How will this affect the airline's cost structure? Will agencies be challenged as the primary channel for airline distribution to the business travel segment? This session will delve into finding the answers to these and other questions about commission cuts in this market.

View Presentation: Do you really need a Travel Agent?
With the dramatic increase in 'consumer-friendly' technology, consumers are finding themselves with new channels to procure travel. And with access to on-line booking platforms and low-cost carriers, the value of the Travel Agent is being questioned. Certainly this is the case on the leisure side of travel. But is it viable for the corporate side to forego the services of an agency partner? What is lost and is anything gained? This session will examine if agencies are a necessary component for the fulfilling of corporate travel requirements.
